Issue Position

Election Integrity -- I have received many questions about whether or not I think the presidential election was fair, and whether or not the upcoming California recall election will be fair too. The truth is… I have some concerns and I know that I'm not the only one. I believe it would be wise for our democracy to ensure that we have #electionintegrity and voter confidence in our #democracy.

There shouldn't be any doubts. For me, this means we have a Voter ID system, that we keep ballots printed (not digital), keep voting in-person (no more mass mail-in ballots), and that we regularly audit our elections to monitor the health and safety of our elections. Really, what would be the true motive of someone against these measures?

Regardless, we need to rock the vote! We need to blow past the margin of any "errors" to secure our democracy.
